Hi Parents!
Tonight for homework, students have a worksheet for math. The problems on the sheet are an extension of the problem sets we did during class, and it was suggested that students take home the activity they completed in class to help them in case they get stuck.
Also, we have FINALLY gotten all students' reading blogs set up, and students have been given their first blog entry assignment. On their blog, students should answer the following question using 4-5 complete sentences:
What is your favorite book? Explain what makes this book your favorite.
If students have trouble creating a blog entry, remind them that they access the blog through their google accounts. If students still have trouble, or if you do not have computer access at home, they will have the opportunity to compose their blog entries at school. Because the number of computers in our classroom and the time we have is limited, however, it would be very helpful if students could complete this at home.
