Hi Parents!
Tonight's homework is page 97 in the textbook. Students are using expanded form to help them multiply multi-digit numbers by a single digit. If your child is having trouble, please don't forget that help is available through your child's Think Central account.
In Social Studies, your child is working on researching one of the regions of the U.S. and creating a poster to show what he/she has learned. We're hoping that these will be finished by Friday, and then we'll transition back to Science to begin studying weather.
In Language Arts, students are finishing up their novel study of Love That Dog. We'll start learning in our differentiated reading groups next week. Students will also begin writing the rough draft for their personal narratives this week. The grammar skill this week is punctuating titles.
Finally, don't forget that Wednesday is a "no-school" day for students. Enjoy your extra day with the kiddos this week :-)
