Parents,
The students have math homework to complete on subtracting whole numbers on pg. 47 of their math book. They should continue to read every night to build on their comprehension skills.
For math this week, we will be finishing up chapter 1 with problem solving and will start chapter 2 which is on multiplication and estimating products.
For reading, we will continue to read Love That Dog. While reading it, we will be citing text-based evidence, finding the main idea, answering close reading questions, and summarizing text.
For writing, students are brainstorming ideas to work on a personal narrative.
For science, we are studying qualitative and quantitative data and students will be completing some experiments to practice the scientific method.
Please support our PTO by going to Dining-to-Donate at Chick-Fil-A between 4 and 7 this Thursday.
The Heroes Scholastic Book Fair will be next week.
