Parents,
The students have math homework on pg. 111 of their math book. This lesson had students using mental math and strategies that are very difficult for the majority of the students. So Mrs. Thompson and I had them pick a strategy that we used this week like Partial Product or Expanded Form to solve the problems. For some of them, they may have to break them apart before multiplying them using a strategy. If this is confusing, please refer to think central and watch the video or look back in their math book on pgs. 107 - 109.
